This is not an article that is going to tell you foods you can eat and all your unwanted body fat is going to miraculously melt away.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But, the good news is that with clean, healthy eating, exercise and incorporating these fat-burning foods into your diet, we could potentially fasten up the process.

#1 BONE BROTH – Bone broth is like magic liquid. It is such an awesome healing food for so many reasons. It is amazing for gut health and can really help to burn fat.

Bone broth has an abundance of amino acids which prevent muscle break-down. The more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn.

Bone broth will help to increase your metabolism and will also detoxify your body. You can drink it as a warm drink, use it as your stock for soups and any other dishes that needs a savoury liquid.

#2 CAYENNE PEPPER – If you love to add spice and heat to your dishes, then you are going to love this fat-burning food. Even if you don’t like a lot of spice (like me), you can still use this in dishes without going over board but still reaping the benefits.

Cayenne Pepper increases your body’s ability to burn fat and swap it for energy, just what we all want when you are wanted to rid unwanted body-fat.

#3 Coconut Oil – Not all fats will make you fat. Coconut oil is in fact one of the most healthiest, natural fats there is.

Coconut oil is high in Medium Chain Triglycerides, which are fatty acids that are metabolised differently then most other fats, leading to beneficial effects on the metabolism.

It can help to decrease body fat and keep your thyroid running smoothly.

#4 Green Leafy Vegetables – Dark leafy greens such as spinach, Swiss chard, kale are packed full of nutrients and iron.

If you don’t like red meats, this is a great way to get your iron intake.

These fat-burning foods help keep muscles functioning properly and burning fat hours and hours after a workout. Winning!

#5 Chia Seeds – These little babies pack a huge punch considering the size of them. They are packed with omega-3 fats, fibre and protein.

When soaking them in liquid eg: nut or coconut milks, they actually absorb so much of their own weight. These tiny seeds help suppress appetite, fire up the metabolism and turn on glucagon, one of the body’s fat-burning hormones.

This means you are left feeling fuller for longer and reduces those sugar cravings.

These foods are all easily accessible from your local food market and can be added into your daily food intake starting today.
