Before you do anything this morning, have a glass of warm lemon water….

Why you ask?

Drinking warm lemon water in the morning helps to flush out any unwanted toxins in the body and cleanses the liver and kidneys.

It’s a great source of Vitamin C which helps to boost your immune system. Lowering the risk of common colds and flues and all those other nasty bugs out there.

Lemon really helps with digestion also, so if you are not regular, having this first thing in the morning can help with that side of things.

Drinking lemon water refreshes the body inside and out and gives you a great energy kick to start your day. (This has been substituted for my morning coffee I used to have before gym)

It’s time to stop neglecting this “boring” fruit and start reaping the benefits this wonder fruit has to offer.

TIPS:

  • Use a good size wedge of lemon and squeeze all the juice out.
  • Don’t put boiling water in the cup as it destroys the benefits.
  • Drink through a straw to avoid stripping your enamel off your teeth.
