PROTEIN BANANA ICE-CREAM
2 - 4 Frozen bananas (peeled)
Unsweetened nut milk, dash (I use coconut or almond)
1 scoop of good quality Chocolate or Vanilla Protein powder (My range Her Whey is amazing, if you are in Australia, we have a MASSIVE clearance sale on the Her Whey – http://fiitshop.com.au
Blend everything but the protein powder together in a good blender until smooth, then add protein powder until completely mixed through and smooth.
If you find it too runny from the nut milk, serve it in bowls and then pop it into the freezer for a good 15-30min stirring each 5min.
You can also top with cacao nibs.
Great for anytime of the day, especially as a post workout snack as it is a great source of carbohydrates and protein 😉
